MANILA, Philippines ? Finance Secretary Cesar Purisima was confirmed by the Commission on Appointments Wednesday, Palawan Representative Antonio Alvarez said.?
Alvarez said no objections were raised against Purisima?s appointment, unlike the last meeting of the CA when he was grilled on some of his policy positions in the department.?
Purisima first faced the bicameral appointments body in March but failed to get its nod.
